The Digestive Pathology Service of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau is the oldest specializing in this field in Spain. It is a leading training centre in this specialty. It currently covers three large areas: Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Digestive Endoscopy, at both a primary healthcare and inpatient treatment level.
